you can always search the server (simracingsystem) on Ac lobby and enter from there.
you should delete your launcherdata folder at mydocs/assetto corsa

Thanks - I did remember you can join manually.  I think the first time I tried, I selected the top split, and did not get in.  I posted, then tried again - and then got around to selecting the second split and was able to get in.

I'll try deleting the launcherdata folder to see if that helps in from joining normally.
