What APPS do people use?
#1
Just wondering what else do people use.
I like pTracker for the leader board, but when I race on SRS it gets a little confused messed up.
I also use, Mapdisplay, Helicorsa, AC Tyre App

I dont use any app to race, just race time/laps and my position (1/10)

To practice I use app tyres, delta bar and ptracker

I noticed that two of you use pTracker, does yours show your name all over the place as well?

I tried pTracker, but for the stuff I'm interested in that it shows, RealTime does a better job. You can configure the hell out of pTracker though... so I recommend checking it out.

At least Helicorsa should be a must.

I would like to go close as a real car as possible, but we are in a sim enviroment so ajustments must be made,
I use
my split times, map (+side windows instead of heliocorsa), pedals and gears (I had issues with potentiometers and the H shifter in the past, so good to keep an eye),.

I dont like to have my position showed since in a racetrack it is that hard to know where you at (considering you dont have radio comm)...

also the srs skin app, but turned off once it has done its job.

Yup. The fact that its still a sim means there's going to be things that would be intuitive or made available to us in real life if we were professional race car drivers. Namely we'd be able to fully sense nearby vehicles by subtle sound echos, peripheral vision combined with reflections off of many surfaces inside and outside the car... stuff like that. Not to mention you would have your crew chief and/or spotter (not the robot one via the CrewChief application either, but a human with a headset).

Consequently I put all sorts of shit in my HUD to make up for the fact that I'm not a professional driver, and that I'm a bad. Big Grin

In other news, I'm a Delta Bar convert. This is for a couple of reasons: 1) it's bigger than the default one that comes in AC and 2) it keeps a record of LIFETIME lap times with the car/track combo, so it can start updating the moment you cross the start/finish line while in Hotlap mode.

I use Helicorsa, Substanding (instead of Ptracker; very solid), OV1info for tyre temperature and fuel (nothing great, maybe more out of habit, but does the job), Multilaps for laptimes (with a delta which is way better than AC's delta) and Crewchief (hasn't it gotten very chatty lately ? On some tracks anyway, can't get it to shut the hell up).
