Is it possible to rejoin an event?

I just signed up for an event, went and did a qualification lap, pitted and then accidentally left the track. I then couldn't get back onto the event to do the actual race.
Is it possible to join the event after I've already joined it? Hopefully I'm not banned for not completing the event.

Yes, search the simracingsystem (with this name) server in the server lobby of assetto (ensure to activate the booking filter).
