Fixed Setup - Steer Assist
#1
A lot of mod cars (like the current RSR F3) have a setup option "steer assist" which is basically a force feedback amplifier or some sort of advanced force feedback setting. Therefore it does not influence the performance, but it can improve force feedback a lot for high downforce cars if you are using a lower end wheel (like the logitech wheels for example). I was wondering why it is blocked in the fixed setup series. In my opinion, it falls into the same "preference" category as brake bias or brake power, which are allowed. Any explanation on this?

Maybe they are not sure it does not influence performance, or it was just easier to tackle it all for fixed setups. From the looks of it I would think so Big Grin but it does not seem to be the case. Perhaps you can shoot them an email for it to be reviewed
